Too many ignorant people. Cutting through your campsite you paid for. Yelling. Dogs barking. No shade. Lake nearby but I'm from the Midwest where there are REAL lakes not dirt holes filled with mucky water and the entire shoreline trampled by the masses. Maybe this is your thing but I'll stick to something more remote. Not into leaving the crowds of LA to find the same crowd just with a different backdrop. Big Bear area as a whole was pretty disappointing for me.

Beautiful campsite. Lots of space. Very quiet - not crowded at all on the weekdays. Hikes very close.

First time out there we had a great time. I just wish you didn’t have to pay to get into the lake.

I loved the site, it’s very private to had brushes around the site. We were so enjoyed the champing, but only one thing that feel sad, because when I booked the this campground, photos shown there are some shower rooms. But actually, no, only toilets. I can accept it, but the families I invited to join us weren’t happy.
