We stayed in camp cite #4. It was secluded and private. It has its own walkway into the Vite from the cars. The bushes in front of it hide it from everyone seeing you. With this being said, all other camp cites are out in the open. A few cites don’t have much shade and some are 1 car 1 tent size. Overall the camp is really clean, it offers a flushing toilet and water. It does have a nearby trail and the lake is approximately 3 miles round trip from the camp cite. There is a convenience store by the lake as well. The camp host are very welcoming and open for any questions you may have.

Our campsite was huge. As usual this is one of our favorites in the area. What really stood out was how friendly the people working at the facility were. Will definitely be back.

For several years I (a volunteer) have. Brought a handicapped couple to this campground, with great success for them. Each year I explain to the campground host that they are “different “ and never a bother to others and the hosts have embraced them nonetheless The male part, 70 year old (in June) Francis, is developmentally delayed” and cognitively functions at about a 6 year old level BUT his social skills and his camping prowess are those of a teenager. He lives entirely independently with assistance for money handling and health care from me. The female part, Darla, is a 56 year old with similar mental condition but lacks the social skills of Francis and thus only leaves the campsite for a walk with Francis or a trip to the toilet. This two week vacation is the most important part of their lives.

We really enjoyed our trip to Green Valley Lake Campground! We went during the week and late in the season, so we were the only campers there. At the time, no fires were allowed and it rained, so it was definitely chilly, but it was way worth it. Our last night was a Friday night, after the rain, and the entire campsite filled up and it was a bit loud! Not a big deal--that's to be expected while camping in an area not too far from the city. There is potable water all over the place, and the bathrooms and clean and all you need (no showers, FYI). The only issue that we had the whole time is that the men's toilet did not have a toilet seat in the bathroom nearest to us, which made my partner a bit uncomfortable. I didn't check any of the other bathrooms, but he was able to use the women's since nobody was there, luckily. Also, there is no soap in the restrooms, so I would recommend bringing your won liquid soap to use there. Cam and JD were really great camp hosts, and we can't wait to go back again!

Great campsite. Only bummer is that fires were not allowed and it got chilly at night. But it was for good reason.

Great campsite! We weren’t too close to any other groups. Couldn’t be happier about how clean the restrooms were!!!! The camp hosts were nice and would come visit all the sites regularly. There was a nice trail right by our campsite. Great tree coverage around our site so we were protected from the sun. No mosquitos and did not encounter any ant hills. Easy to use beat locker provided at our site. Definitely planning on coming again!
