We really enjoyed our trip to Green Valley Lake Campground! We went during the week and late in the season, so we were the only campers there. At the time, no fires were allowed and it rained, so it was definitely chilly, but it was way worth it. Our last night was a Friday night, after the rain, and the entire campsite filled up and it was a bit loud! Not a big deal--that's to be expected while camping in an area not too far from the city. There is potable water all over the place, and the bathrooms and clean and all you need (no showers, FYI). The only issue that we had the whole time is that the men's toilet did not have a toilet seat in the bathroom nearest to us, which made my partner a bit uncomfortable. I didn't check any of the other bathrooms, but he was able to use the women's since nobody was there, luckily. Also, there is no soap in the restrooms, so I would recommend bringing your won liquid soap to use there. Cam and JD were really great camp hosts, and we can't wait to go back again!

Great campsite. Only bummer is that fires were not allowed and it got chilly at night. But it was for good reason.

Great campsite! We weren’t too close to any other groups. Couldn’t be happier about how clean the restrooms were!!!! The camp hosts were nice and would come visit all the sites regularly. There was a nice trail right by our campsite. Great tree coverage around our site so we were protected from the sun. No mosquitos and did not encounter any ant hills. Easy to use beat locker provided at our site. Definitely planning on coming again!

The campsites are very nice and roomy! The restrooms are well maintained. Bring your own soap for the restrooms. The park rangers are super nice and very helpful! Keep an eye out for bob cats! We saw three bob cats during our three day stay !

We love staying at the campground! It’s above the clouds, it’s nice to get away from the heat where we live, the hosts are amazingly helpful! It’s a great place to stay! Highly recommend it!

Great campsites for a weekend getaway by one's self, family, or friends. I didn't have signal (AT&T) which was fine and bathrooms were pretty clean. I will say that the campground is limited in activities found at other places, but I do recommend for recreational camping.

Nice clean campground. We rented 2 sites next to each other and the hosts were very accommodating. I could tell from minute one though that they were not happy to see kids. We brought several kids from our church and we were beneath the occupancy limit. We obeyed all the rules and had lights out by 9:30. Our checkout time was noon the next day and by 9am the host was walking through our campsite examining everything and threatened to ticket us if the fire wasn’t extinguished. We still had 3 hours before we had to leave.

I take my sons on a boys trip here every year and we always have a blast… awesome trails around the campground, nice campsites, mostly very quiet, very clean park.

Kind of a weird experience arriving at the site. There was no check in like other places, and we had to find our own spot on our own then someone ended up on a golf cart coming to us asking us if we have checked in??? Place also seemed deserted even though it said that spots around us were booked But it got busy come Saturday.

1 Bathroom stall stayed clean, and place being deserted meant that we didn't have any loud neighbors. Our site was also quite large.

Saturday camping neighbors were loud until about 2:00 a.m. :( But it seems to be a pattern with camping at different sites that the people who are in charge do not go around and ask them to be quiet.

It was great having a lake in town and with my toddler it was a big hit. There were other families there with young children also so a great time was had. Be warned that they raised the price to get into the lake.

It advertised shade but not really so I'm glad that we brought our big umbrella.
