What Guests Are Saying
Arroyo Seco Campground boasts a beautiful location ideal for birdwatching and hiking, with clean facilities and friendly hosts enhancing the experience. While the campground can get busy and noisy, especially on weekends, many guests appreciate the vibrant atmosphere and access to nature. However, larger RVs may find navigating the access roads challenging, and some facilities require maintenance, but overall, visitors enjoyed their stays and expressed a desire to return.

Beautiful and peaceful location. Staff was very friendly and bathrooms were spotless. Zero cell service and didn't expect to share hiking trails with deer hunters - will be better prepared for that when I come back!

This campground is an out of the way gem next to a hiking trail with spectacular views of the Arroyo River gorge. The hosts kept the restrooms immaculately clean; there are coin operated showers but mine was cold. The sites are a little close together but quiet time at night is strictly enforced.

This is a small, quiet, and remote campground. The campground management is friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. There’s great hiking right from the campground. As there’s no potable water, be sure to take enough water for your stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at Arroyo Seco and look forward to returning.

I have come here several times before. It is a beautiful campground with nice amenities. There are great hikes you can go on, biking, swimming, and fishing. I would only consider coming in the spring or fall for the best weather.

A nice campground in oak trees. Lake beds were dried up, but despite the name “Arroyo Seco” the creek was still flowing and we hiked and found a nice secluded swimming hole.

Beautiful campsite and clean amenities. We had a couple wonderful hikes and enjoyed the warm fall temperatures. A fantastic time to experience a low volume of campers. Can’t wait to return!

We loved our time there. The view of the gorge was spectacular, passing deer added to the quiet and peaceful vibe, the flush restrooms were very accommodating, the stargazing produced many satellites and a shooting star, and our site plus several others was quite level and accessible for a wheel chair. The cherry on top was the crossing of the road send off from a local tarantula!
