What Guests Are Saying
Arroyo Seco Campground boasts a beautiful location ideal for birdwatching and hiking, with clean facilities and friendly hosts enhancing the experience. While the campground can get busy and noisy, especially on weekends, many guests appreciate the vibrant atmosphere and access to nature. However, larger RVs may find navigating the access roads challenging, and some facilities require maintenance, but overall, visitors enjoyed their stays and expressed a desire to return.

It’s a *very* popular campground. Weekends and holidays will be a bit noisy.
Midweek, it cannot be beat. Wonderful Oak trees and Woodpeckers.
Clean restrooms! Great Staff too.

A great place to go for hiking. There are several excellent trails with beautiful scenery near the campground. The lower campground (for RVs) has fairly well spaced sites, many with shade from the abundant oak trees. However there is almost no lower vegetation to provide privacy. The campground was full on a recent March weekend, but had almost emptied by Monday. The facilities were in good shape and reasonably clean. However soap was not provided in the bathrooms. We will definitely go again (mid-week) for the hiking.

Nice campground, but trailheads are poorly marked. Trail junctions have no signs.

The campsite was beautiful and so quiet all the grounds were spacious and kept up well. All the bathroom, showers were clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. If you feel like being disconnect from all internet and cell, this is a nice little getaway not too far from the San Jose Bay Area. I would recommend this place to friends and would go back again.
