What Guests Are Saying
Cherry Valley campground offers a clean, well-maintained environment with friendly hosts, particularly JJ, who is praised for his helpfulness. The restrooms are consistently clean, and the scenic Cherry Lake provides a peaceful setting, though access involves a steep hike. While some campers noted the remote location and challenges finding activities, most enjoyed the spacious campsites and overall positive camping experience, with many expressing a desire to return.

Only stayed one night but very nice location; a bit remote took us 1.5 hours to go 26 mi from the hwy 120 on a very windy road hugging the mountainside.

The road getting to the campground is a serious ascent. The campground is nice, there's plenty of space for campers. I would not pay for a double spot again though. There were single spots with several people, tents, and autos. Why pay double? The restrooms were cleaned daily and the ranger was helpful regarding the best way to yet to Yosemite.

We brought our own water due to drought, everything else was fine.

the campground was very clean and quiet. There was no service with Verizon. The worst part is actually getting there. we drove about 20 mi on very winding, sometimes single-lane roads with low visibility. Be prepared to drive slow. would rate it 5 stars if not for the road there.
