What Guests Are Saying

Cherry Valley campground offers a clean, well-maintained environment with friendly hosts, particularly JJ, who is praised for his helpfulness. The restrooms are consistently clean, and the scenic Cherry Lake provides a peaceful setting, though access involves a steep hike. While some campers noted the remote location and challenges finding activities, most enjoyed the spacious campsites and overall positive camping experience, with many expressing a desire to return.

This campground is always good, even though they didn't have water. The camp hosts are friendly and keep the place in order and the sites are all spaced so you don't feel like you're on top of each other.

The place was a little difficult to find after dark (no one's fault but our own.) The Campsite manager Andy was a great host in every way, he told us all about the nearby trails and sight-seeing. We would definitely camp here again when visiting Yosemite NP!

This was our first visit to this campsite and we took a gamble on what to expect. If you need to go somewhere with no cell phone signal, no showers, no running water and to be completely away from it all then this is the place. We absolutely loved it, it is truly a beautiful place if you really want peace and quiet for a few days. Andy and JJ were very helpful with info on what to do etc. We will be returning

Very nice camp, hosts were fantastic, they kept the restrooms clean and garbage emptied. No water available this year but we were notified a headache of time so not an issue.
