Site #042
The campsite was lovely, had a huge table, bear-safe food container, enough space for a 6 person tent and a metal pit for lighting firewood. It was quiet and peaceful at night.
The only thing which bothered me was it was too far from everything. The nearest gas station was ~1.15 hour away and the road was very winding. I did spend sometime at the lake, but it is very rocky and not much to do around unless you bring your canoe/kayak/boat. I could not find any good hiking trails also nearby.

These were the cleanest vault toilets Iβve ever experienced! There was a very nice and helpful groundskeeper selling firewood. There is a hiking trail down to the lake near campsite 11(very steep and rocky). The campground site provides a wooden picnic table, fire pit and a bear box as well as running water near the bathrooms. We had a great time. I recommend making a reservation. It was very busy Friday and Saturday. Sunday night was pretty empty. We saw a doe walk through our campground during breakfast. There are probably other wild life nearby as well!

Such a great campsite! So quiet out in the middle of nowhere! Cheery lake is soo clear and refreshing π the walk from campsite #10 is uphill otherwise you can drive 5 minutes to the boat dock area. JJ and his dog zeke were incredibly welcoming ππΌ couldn't ask for a better place!
