Headquarters CG is an easy to find, close to town type of camping area, that sits on the beautiful Kern River.
You get to experience the sun setting behind the monstrous mountain and waking to the sun rising over a boulder-like hill.
Stargazing is fantastic, it's quiet and relaxing. I did not get the Host's name, but He was awesome.
We'll be back in the Summer.

Headquarters CG is an easy to find, close to town type of camping area, that sits on the beautiful Kern River.

Everything was very nice, wish there were more fish in the river at headquarters, but overall, great trip. Mark was very nice and knowledgeable.

Great location on the Kern River. The pit toilets were very clean and cleaned early every morning. Drive into the mountains for the best hikes, trail of 100 giant Sequoias, dome rock, and a short hike to a fabulous waterfall Nobe!
The weekend partiers were a little annoying but not awful.
