The camp facilities were well maintained. Our camp host was great! The hiking trails were great. The fishing was ok, other people had better luck. Campsite 4 was nicely private. The highway and train noise can be a bit bothersome, but when you’re really tired no big deal. The Marina was busy on the weekend, but it didn’t bother us. Overall, beautiful place!

Sites were surprisingly large. We had no problems fitting with our 36’ Class A. No dump station, electricity or water but we didn’t expect or need any of those conveniences anyways. First time I’ve used the electronic check-in process with the QR code, which worked perfectly and made the process quick and easy. Ranger was very friendly as was the campground host.

The facilities were very nice overall. The campground was quiet and clean with plenty of trailheads nearby to explore. The primary issue was that; unfortunately, I had planned to do some fishing during my stay so had booked here to have easy access to launching at the ramp. Understandably water levels do vary throughout the year but do be cautious as the ramp was unusable as it was just dirt with minimal incline and large potholes in it where the water level was at. I had to then drive down to Packer’s bay to launch where the ramp was very well maintained and launching was easy.

I was in Site 7. Site is super big with no neighbors to either side. As some folks have pointed out you can hear the highway but not loud enough to ruin the stay. Facilities were clean and close. I would go back.
