What Guests Are Saying
College campground offers beautiful lakeside views, a peaceful atmosphere, and friendly, attentive hosts. The restrooms are regularly cleaned and well-maintained, enhancing the camping experience. While there are some issues with noise from large groups on weekends and occasional cleanliness concerns in the campsites, many guests express a desire to return for the overall enjoyable experience.

PG&E has destroyed the beach at college camp. They cut lots of trees down and left them all over the beach in front of College Campground. We got bitten by fleas at the beach. The water system broke and the normally potable water was polluted with a white substance that looked like teflon tape or plastic particles. The flush toilets were shut down for a day for an unknown reason. The campsite was clean and nice no shade you must bring a canopy for shade.

The only reason my wife and I reserved a campsite at Huntington Lake for this weekend was to go sailing. When we arrived and discovered that the lake had already been drained for the winter season we were very upset. There was no notification that the lake would be emptied prior to our trip. When I pay peak season prices for a campsite, I would expect there to be lake access for my boat. Unfortunately, it seems governmental bureaucracy once again screws over the common man.

Clean campsite, GREAT location and view of the lake. Loved being able to walk right down tot the water. The sites are on the smaller side had to squeeze for room for a second tent

Loved this little campground! We were there over July 4th weekend, and it was still only about half full. Restrooms were close, and there was a general store/restaurant/bar about 5 minutes walk away, so we could eat something other than camp food if we wanted. Definitely want to go back some time!
