This lake has only recently over the last year or two became a reserve only campground. This makes it a little uneasy to go and hope no unscheduled campers are in your paid for spot. With no camp host to enforce rules, just beware. We go on the off seasons, so it has not been an issue for us. The website could really use some work to help this process out. We had such a delightful time last week. This really is a beautiful little gem.

I love this campground but the road leading to it is treacherous and almost impossible if you meet someone coming the opposite way. Also, the insects are insane. There were wasps and huge horseflies harassing us the entire day. We definitely won't be going back even though it's beautiful.
