What Guests Are Saying

Juanita Lake Campground is a beautiful, serene spot perfect for family gatherings and outdoor activities like kayaking and fishing. Many campers appreciate the spacious, well-kept sites and stunning scenery, although some have noted issues with the lack of potable water and campground oversight. While the road to the campground can be challenging and insect presence can be bothersome, overall, visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and plan to return.

Visited towards the end of the season. Had a blast fishing on the lake! Lots of fish, ducks, and a bald eagle hanging around. Campground wasn’t overly busy, but there were surprisingly quite a few day use visitors. Will be returning!

A lovely small lake, quiet. Not overrun. Outhouse, but no water when I visited in October. Good mostly level spaces, far enough apart. No host in 2024 I don't believe.

Lovely campground! Make sure you book through recreation.gov ahead of time!! There is a QR code to scan when you get there, but we had to backtrack on the road a bit to get enough service to book the site - there are no drop-in sites available. The sites were beautiful, and we were surrounded by lots of huge trees. The lake is pretty, and the walkways are accessible around the lake. Drive up to the lake from the south side (not via Meiss Lake Road) and you'll have a paved road all the way up. The other side is much less travelled/maintained.

Wish there was a no campground generator (noise) rule similar to no motors on the lake.
