What Guests Are Saying
Oh Ridge Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful lake access and spacious, clean campsites, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. Despite some issues with restroom accessibility and a lack of showers, most guests appreciate the friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. While there are concerns about parking fees and campground maintenance, the overall atmosphere and scenic views make it a desirable camping destination.

The campground host and the folks at the entrance were super nice and accommodating. The power had been out due to lightning and they let us drive in and select a site we liked. Bathroom facilities were clean. We had a great experience and will camp there again when we are in the area.

The lake and surrounding area is Beautiful. The camp host is another issue Or should I say issues. The take up all the pine camping sites, they drive through the camp site too fast, ignore the speed limit ( there’s none). They don’t clean the campsite after someone checks out, the campers next to us left at 8:30 a.m and had a smoldering fire till 8:30 p. m when thunderstorms up out the fire. We observed it very carefully. Terrible!!!

As spring/summer 2023 gets off to a slow start and our reservations for Silver Lake got canceled due to high water - Oh Ridge was the replacement reservation. We had a nice large spot with some mature pine trees for shade. The bathrooms are very clean as was the rest of the area. It is a bit of a walk down to the lake but the views of the snowy mountains can't be beat. The town of June Lake is also reasonably close with a few nice eating options. Nice locals vibe. Lots of people were catching fish.

One of my favorite places. This site was close to the neighbors but wasn’t bad.

We reserved the campsite 8 (bear loop). Very clean. Very quiet loop. No RVs. Just campsites. Beautiful view of the june lake. About 100-150 ft access to water pumps. Only con is that the nearest restrooms are located on another loop. About 5 minutes walk from our campsite. Hosts advise that there are no restrooms on our loop due to a power cable line running through our loop for our safety. Overall it was an excellent experience. Very helpful and nice hosts. No showers on this campsite and nearest showers is on silver lake campground. Bring quarters.
