What Guests Are Saying
Oh Ridge Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful lake access and spacious, clean campsites, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. Despite some issues with restroom accessibility and a lack of showers, most guests appreciate the friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. While there are concerns about parking fees and campground maintenance, the overall atmosphere and scenic views make it a desirable camping destination.

We called ahead to let them know we we’re bringing our Can-Am’s with us they had no problem just have to use trails when leaving ( also talk to ranger before heading out regarding road crossing like always they were very nice they said as long as We follow Street rules and on trail right away they ok )
1) 1st night come back with our safety lights on and the yes music but it was very low as we always turn it down as we enter any campsite
As we go to park our cars A very angry camp host comes driving up to us in the wrong ways speeding like she cop if like if there’s some kind of an emergency going on first words out of her mouth she says In a very agitated and angry voice if we were related to some other party I told I have no idea what she talking about , then she proceeds to tell us we need to turn off our music and the safety lights as we drive it inside the campsite
We’ve stayed at this campsite multiple times in the past I always call make sure the rules have not changed this is the first time we’ve had this encounter
And the trails go right to the campsite it’s designed for that so Camphost name was Karen

The campground itself is fine, but it lacks any and all protection from the sun. I would not recommend this for tent camping during the summer months, even if it’s in the 80’s. A trailer with an awning is the only way to enjoy this during the summer

We've always done wild camping and never stayed in a camp ground but have to say it was a memorable experience. The park was well run and organized. Was concerned about the noise/music at night but at 10 p.m. it was like someone turned off the switch and all was silent. Met many great people and the camp hosts were a wealth of information sharing great spots to go explore with our Jeep. And can I say what a beautiful view June Lake was! Amazing!

A Beautiful & windy place to stay. The beach is amazing the view to carson peak over the turquoise water is breath taking. The only negative and inconvenience was the dump station out of service! it will be great when the dump is finally fixed. The camp hosts were really friendly & did a great job. Some idiots dumped hot coals on there site and started a fire, luckily someone spotted it in time. Cant believe the national parks are allowing fires in California.

It was a little windy, but reasonable size, 10 minute walk to the lake, and clean bathrooms. We tent camped happily.

hosts wonderful, bathrooms clean, camp quiet at night (except when host has night off, boo hoo). Only issue was smoke from everyone's campfires. It was in the 90's, and hi fire danger. do we really need campfires in those situations
