What Guests Are Saying
Oh Ridge Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful lake access and spacious, clean campsites, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. Despite some issues with restroom accessibility and a lack of showers, most guests appreciate the friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. While there are concerns about parking fees and campground maintenance, the overall atmosphere and scenic views make it a desirable camping destination.

The Dump Station was closed during our visit. It appeared that NOBODY cared. It was not being worked on and the staff could have cared less about the situation. In fact, they were RUDE about it. They blamed a camper for breaking it, but offered nothing to fix the problem.

Beautiful views of the lake and mountains everywhere. Most sites are very spacious and could accommodate my 34β 5th wheel nicely.

I know it is no human's fault but three days of my five day stay was SO WINDY that it actually did damage to my RV... I don't know what is normal, as that was my first stay.

If you want an outdoor experience then do not come here. This place is worse than living in an apartment building. Way too many sites packed together. Rude, loud and inconsiderate people everywhere. Generators running like it is the end of the world or something. I would hardly describe this as camping.
Also every campsite has been cleared to the ground so the landscape looks horrible. Also when the wind blows all the volcanic dirt that has been exposed blows everywhere making a major dust storm. Sites have zero privacy between one another.
The bathrooms were taken care of pretty well but not great. Only one bathroom per two or more loops. That means one toilet for two loops of people all having to use it at the same time in the morning. At least that was the case in the Rabbit loop i stayed in. Men's bathroom.
This place is great if you love apartment living in the city!! Definitely not worth the $33 a night.

I recommend this spot due to the lake. My main and only issue was that the paticular day I went it wasnt amazing due to not having many trees around to stop the 50+MPH winds.π₯

Please Note: One RV with tow per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. In accordance with standard industry practices, Inyo Recreation will assess an additional $10.00 extra vehicle fee per day for the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site.
