What Guests Are Saying

Oh Ridge Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful lake access and spacious, clean campsites, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. Despite some issues with restroom accessibility and a lack of showers, most guests appreciate the friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. While there are concerns about parking fees and campground maintenance, the overall atmosphere and scenic views make it a desirable camping destination.

We absolutely love OH Ridge! We have come for over 20+ years. The campground is clean, organized and well run. They have thinned out some brush and spaces are well kept. Never a bad experience!

We spent 3 days in the "Deer Loop", out site was clean, able to get in on time. The camp hosts working the check in booth were fantastic. In fact every camp host or camp worker were all great to speak with and very friendly. We have been coming here for years and really enjoy it every time. I do wish the reservation system was easier to use. I don't like the current system. Seems some have a way to manipulate it. It also is a lot of un necessary steps involved. Back to the camp spot, spot on!!

This campground has turned into a trailer park, with non-stop generator noise from 7am to 10pm. An inordinate percentage of people who stay in RVs/Trailers simply do not have an accurate concept of how their noise affects people who are camping, in tents, in their area.

Please designate several loops as tent-only, as is the practice in a large number of public campgrounds. It would be appropriate to choose loops that are not in close proximity to RV/generator loops.

Also, loop hosts need to make regular rounds during quiet hours. When the source of a "complaint" is clear to an aggressive and problematic party, then that source is at risk. Regular rounds establish the host as the "complainant" and keep the paying visitors safe from retaliation.

Oh Ridge used to be very nice. It can be again, with a more mindful strategy for noise control.

Thanks a bunch!

We have camped at Oh Ridge before and it is always a pleasure. The campground is within walking distance of the beach at June Lake. The campsites are mostly flat with picnic tables, fire pits and restrooms close by. We often see wildlife and there are many places to go walking. There is lots to do in the June Lake loop including boating, hiking, fishing, dining out and just relaxing. I look forward to coming again next summer.
