What Guests Are Saying

Oh Ridge Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful lake access and spacious, clean campsites, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. Despite some issues with restroom accessibility and a lack of showers, most guests appreciate the friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. While there are concerns about parking fees and campground maintenance, the overall atmosphere and scenic views make it a desirable camping destination.

Oh ridge is beautiful and was a great trip for us. We camped in late July at campsite Rabbit #63 and it was the perfect size for us. You can definitely park two big trucks tandem and there was plenty of space around to set up our easy up and all of our other camping accessories. Your Neighbors are close but everyone keeps to themselves and is respectful of each others spaces. The lake was less than a 5 min walk, we cut through campsite squirrel to get to the beach trail. Its a very small lake and we came on a Sunday and it was busy but still awesome . Mammoth town is a quick beautiful 20 min drive away, there's everything you'd need over there (ex: camping supplies, coffee shops, grocery stores etc..) The only downfall is that it is WINDY like WINDY WINDY. I don't know how people tent camp there, thankfully we were truck camping but yes the wind can get intense from mid day all the way into the night. No wind/calm hours were 4am-11am so if you want to paddle board or kayak I suggest going before 11am.
Overall because of the wind its 4.5 star campsite.

I forgot to add that this campsite has a lake view.

We have camped at Oh Ridge before and it is always a pleasure. The campground is within walking distance of the beach at June Lake. The campsites are mostly flat with picnic tables, fire pits and restrooms close by. We often see wildlife and there are many places to go walking. There is lots to do in the June Lake loop including boating, hiking, fishing, dining out and just relaxing. I look forward to coming again next summer.
