What Guests Are Saying
Old Shady Rest Campground offers a pleasant and well-maintained environment with spacious, level sites suitable for both tents and RVs. Its convenient location near town and various recreational activities adds to its appeal, while friendly hosts enhance the overall experience. Some minor drawbacks include occasional noise from nearby roads and the presence of ants, but these do not detract significantly from the campground's charm and cleanliness.

Love this campground. It’s clean (including the flush toilets), well kept, shady, walking distance to the down town area and will for sure return! Is say the only negative is that some people don’t keep their dog on a leash.

Great site that is essentially in town but feels like you’re not. Good base camp for car camping and adventures in Mammoth.
