This is one of our favorite places in the area! Clean campground and restrooms. Camp hosts are friendly and always willing to answer any questions. Lots of local hiking and fishing.

An absolute 5-star experience in the Sierra! The campsites, bathrooms, and showers were all impeccably clean, and there was always plenty of hot water. The location is an outdoor lover's paradise with endless opportunities for hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing. I truly couldn't get enough of the local waterfalls and creeks. Can't wait to venture back to Silver Lake this Fall!

We planned for a 4 night stay from June 1-5 but packed up and went home after 2 nights. The site isn't bad if you had a small trailer or camper, but we were in tents and the ground was still covered with grass that was lumpy and mostly not level. No trees for shade but some brushes as walls between other sites. Lake is beautiful but didn't catch a fish and gets very windy in afternoon till sundown. Restrooms are fine. Most of campground is just open space with no shade. For something nice to say the Silver Lake Resort is just across the road and has plenty of supplies and a restaurant.

Location- amazing! Views are gorgeous. Camphosts are very friendly. The bathrooms are as clean as the hosts can keep them. The buildings could use some maintenance. It looked like the roofs leaked and need some attention. Maybe future maintenance could address this.

The campground is accessed via U.S. Highway 395, which is approximately 7 miles from Highway 158, the road leading directly to Silver Lake Campground.

- This is a high elevation facility; please use caution when traveling from lower elevations
- Be bear aware; keep all food out of site in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from area after eating; always keep a clean camp and do not feed any wild animals; campground host has bear literature
- Only 2 pets per site allowed.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures contact the Mammoth Lakes Visitor Center, (760) 924-5500, or the Mono Lakes Visitor Center, (760) 647-3044.
- Please Note: One RV with tow per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. In accordance with standard industry practices, Inyo Recreation will assess an additional $10.00 extra vehicle fee per day for the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered one vehicle, and the third and fourth motorcycle are also considered one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.
- Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of the second day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.

- PASS DISCOUNTS: You must provide your pass and photo identification upon check in. If you received a pass discount for which you were not eligible, you must pay the difference in price upon arrival.
