Calm and peaceful campground in a very scenic setting! The Eastern Sierra rise up near vertical on one side, and the creek runs on the other. The place is neat and clean, and the camp host was very helpful. Seems very popular with families - many children running around. Note that there are no electrical outlets in the toilet, even though there is power for lighting. One of our favorite campgrounds for hiking/backpacking in the Eastern Sierra!

Spacious campsite with views of the mountains surrounding the campground and Silver Lake. Even, paved path for walking and bike riding. Clean, sanitary restrooms. Will stay here again.

The campground is beautiful and well maintained. The bathrooms a very well maintained and clean as well. Yosemite and Mamouth are both close day trips and worth the drive. Try the Apple Pancakes at the Silver Lake Store cafe!

We were only able to get one night here. Our spot had a lot of trash in it. We were planning on moving to a First Come First Serve spot, but "First Come First Serve" spots are somehow reserved offline by the camp host. This happened to us a couple of years ago and things have not changed here. If you can't get a reservation, don't bother. Also, this campground is bit even worth the trouble. We found a much better one and will never come back here.

What a spot! Great large sites with easy access to creek, lake and epic hiking. Want to come back yearly.

This campground is quite large. I was there for two nights. I will never stay at this campground again. The people around me were loud and noisy at night with music playing, sitting around their campfire past midnight. Lot of kids that were noisy and playing on the paved drive with frisbees, riding bikes, offering to sell me rock nuggets for .75 cents, people walking their dogs, riding their bikes around the loop and the worst was the family feeding a deer potato chips.

General
- This is a high elevation facility; please use caution when traveling from lower elevations
- Be bear aware; keep all food out of site in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from area after eating; always keep a clean camp and do not feed any wild animals; campground host has bear literature
- Only 2 pets per site allowed.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures contact the Mammoth Lakes Visitor Center, (760) 924-5500, or the Mono Lakes Visitor Center, (760) 647-3044.
- Please Note: One RV with tow per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. In accordance with standard industry practices, Inyo Recreation will assess an additional $10.00 extra vehicle fee per day for the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered one vehicle, and the third and fourth motorcycle are also considered one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.
- Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of the second day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.

- PASS DISCOUNTS: You must provide your pass and photo identification upon check in. If you received a pass discount for which you were not eligible, you must pay the difference in price upon arrival.
