What Guests Are Saying
Visitors to Lassen Volcanic National Park have noted its stunning beauty and unique geological features, with many appreciating the quiet trails and spacious campsites, particularly near Manzanita Lake. Despite some access challenges due to closures and the aftermath of the Dixie fire, guests found joy in hiking and capturing picturesque views. Many expressed a desire to return, especially in spring or early fall, to fully experience the park's offerings and explore deeper trails.

The boundary between site 5,6 and 7 is poorly defined. Our site 6 had no level tent spots within the fallen trees. We pitched two tents between site 5 and site 6. The larger groups in site 5 also used that space resulting in tents being pitched in close proximity

Great campsite for a group. It is on the northern end of the park so far from Lassen, Bumpass, Brokeoff.

We have a 36ft fifth wheel trailer. Website says site will accomodate 40 foot trailer. Well we lucked out and just happened to reserve a site that the trailer would fit in sideways. Some spots were back ins and no way could our trailer fit in. Need to mark each site as 40 foot friendly so when reserving online you know which one to reserve. Also bathroom cleaning. Only mopped floor and no disinfectant used on toilet itself

The location is great. Plenty of room to spread out. The ground was in good condition for tents. The campground is well maintained site. I highly recommend this campground for groups.

We loved our time at the Lost Creek Group Campground. It was clean and we had tons of space for the kids to run around and explore.
