We loved this campground. It was difficult to level our RV but the spot was close to the lake and we had a view of only trees, very spacious spot it was. In the evening three deer passed by. We loved the Manzanita Lake, we walked the trail. And the next morning we did some nice shopping in the camping store. Great atmosphere all together!

Si te was nice, not too sunny and bathrooms were close and water too but not noisy at all. Overall good experience

I really liked the campsite and overall the park my only complaint was that the site had too much sunshine and the box of food was under the sun for the entire day affecting the food - but overall good experience.
Bathrooms close and water but not to close to be bothersome

Wonderful place to camp. We enjoyed the hike around the lake and the wildlife we saw.
We missed a ranger to force our neighbor to stop running the noisy generator all day long.

We booked two nights. We couldn't make the first night because of delays. When we arrived for our second night they gave away our campsite even though we had paid for it. Not cool. This caused all kinds of confusion and wasting of time. Thankfully a ranger told us to take any open site and stay the night which we did and had a nice time.

Nice clean campground, nice bathrooms, sad
Y the showers weren’t open due to a tree falling on them. But no big deal, they were rebuilding them. My only complaint is the prices in the store for souvenirs, extremely over priced so we bought nothing.

This was probably one of my least favorite NP campsites. Cons: Campsites felt like they were on top of each other and there was a large group in a non group site that was up well into the night partying. Showers weren’t functional and the kayak rentals were a bit lacking.
Pros: lots of friendly fellow campers, lots of bathroom options, the museum was interesting and the Manzanita Lake loop was an easy trek with a gorgeous view of the mtn. The store also had some nice options. And garbage was picked up regularly from the cans.

Clean, well organized campground. Friendly people and no cell phone or internet which is a rare find nowadays and allows you to actually enjoy nature without distraction.
