We were only fortunate to stay one night. But our first impression of the campground and our site was wonderful. It was clean. It’s had great amenities including multiple potable water Spickets, flushable toilets , wash stations, a camp store, and showers if needed. The list goes on. It was quite busy and loud campground being it was the a few days after the 4th of July. This a very family friendly campground with all amenities to glamp and feel comfortable as possible. If you’re looking for more peace and isolation I do not recommend this campground. Otherwise, my wife and I 100% recommend this campground. We wish we had a few more days here. We’ll definitely be back.

We very much enjoyed our time at Matazan Lake Campground which is within Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park. The environment was very attractive and roomy. We appreciated the policy that allowed our site to have a tent and an RV on it.

So great! Large sites, clean bathrooms, laundry facilities, cafe/gift shop, showers. Just a great campsite to enjoy Manzanita Lake or the greater Lassen Volcanic National Park. We will be back for sure.

- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.

- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee.
