Very crowded felt like everyone was on top of each other. Cars were parked everywhere. Campfire smoke was so thick you couldn’t see across the campground. Would never stay there again.

The weather was great, the camp spaces clean, and the staff was very friendly. We walked the doggies every day and scouted out the best camping spots for next time. :)

The camp sites were great - nicer spacing (farther apart) than many other campgrounds in the area. The downside was that there was no camp host, so no one to manage a rowdy party of young people in the campsite next to us. They had twice as many tents and occupants as is allowed in a site. My husband had to get up at 10:30 at night to ask them to please turn down their music and lower their voices. The next day he pointed the site out to the ranger who was cruising through the campground. She just shrugged and did nothing.

There was no privacy in the campsite, one open meadow with numerous campsites in open view of each other. Bathrooms were not clean, had no electrical light which is the most minimal of services for a campground to offer. There were no maps of the campground offered anywhere that I could take and refer to it, not in the campground store, not at the entrance, no where, nada. If I hadn't spotted one posted I would not have known where the water faucets were in the campground. Overall this campground gets a C-, I would not stay here again and spent my time looking at other campgrounds in the park for future visits.

The campground itself was tidy and well maintained. The provided food locker had ample space for everything we needed to store. The campground store was also well equipped with things we had forgotten to pack. Overall we had an excellent stay!
