Great campsites, lots of room between campsites and clean bathrooms. Showers were a great price and not to far away although the cost of wood at the camp store was a little high you could get wood a a great price in the town of Shingleville. Cell phone service is basically non-existent in the campgrounds, we were able to get cell service by the main park entrance outside Manzanita lake.

Busy campground! Lots of campers coming and going on a daily basis. Loop D has some larger sites and some smaller sites, but all are very visible to all campers. Almost no privacy since the lower vegetation is all cleared out. There are also a few recreational vehicles sneaking into the Tents Only campground. The destination of Lassen NP and Manzanita Lake however are highly desirable locations to visit. And staying in the park is the best way to visit all that is offered.

Campground and facilities were good. We like that the toilets have lights and are flushed toilets. The hike around the lake was good with awesome views! However the second half of the hike was challenging as the trail from the park entrance booth via visitor center/museum back to boat ramp was not well marked nor obvious.

Great site, clean, family friendly, perfect location. Only con, some families let their kids scream and run around starting at 5:30 am!

It's a great place to camp. The hike around Manzanita Lake and Reflection Lake are great hikes and even child friendly.
