Campground was clean, bathrooms clean. Many trees have been cut down so there is much less shade in the campground

Sites are a bit open, so not much privacy. Bear boxes are often in the sun, which is a real challenge to keep food cool. I like the bathrooms with the dishwashing sinks. The campground store's food selection is too limited. Manzanita lake is perhaps the least appealing swimming experience in the entire park - so many better lakes, even if they are not as convenient.

Would not recommend this specific site for tent camping for the following reasons:
- Very very dusty. It’s exposed and no pine needles or branches covering the dirt.
- Bear box is exposed in the sun during the day and is facing away from the site. Weird position. Everything you store in it gets hot.
- Flies and bugs won’t leave you alone. Our tent was covered in flies all day long and at night we couldn’t sit outside with headlamps without bugs flying and crushing into us non-stop.
- Picnic table is sloped.
On the positive aspects:
- Big site
- Close walk to the bathroom
- Right next to the water and trash bins
Enjoyed Manzanita Campground that has showers, camper store with coffee/ice cream and some breakfast items, clean bathrooms. Would return, but pick another camp site there.

Beautiful campground. Sites vary wildly in levelness and how you might best position your rig. B43 was only good for our 25' Class C for pulling in directly or straight back while ideally we would have been // to the road. Not much oversight on entry so campers who had not actually read their rez & reminder e-mail would not know the limited hours for generators. Watch the trees on the internal campground roads as well as site.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
