We had a great stay for Memorial Day weekend. We rented a boat and had a great day out on the water.

As usual, we had a wonderful time camping, and spending time on our kayaks in the water.
The staff are friendly, and accommodating.
The weather was a bit too breezy a couple days of our 5 day stay, but we still had great temperatures.
Because it is spring, we saw many geese & turkeys with their young, as well as a goose still sitting on 6 big goose eggs.
The toilets were stocked with toilet paper, there is fresh water available at different sites throughout the campground.
This is one of our favorite lake places to camp, and I would recommend.

Always such a beautiful place to be. I go every year multiple times a year. The employees are always so nice. The beat part is the stars at night. You won't be disappointed.

Campsite was large and clean. Potable restrooms were close and clean. The people at the main gate were helpful and friendly. Overall great weekend of camping and boating.

The campground is fairly well maintained. Surprisingly, the port-a putties were in good condition and reasonably clean. Location is easy to get to and campsites are numbered and easily found. Depending on where your campsite is, you may have to walk a little to get to a beach side so you can access water. Lake was fairly cleaned. We were 5 families and I was lucky to get 4x campsites next to each other and away from rest of campers, so we had a little secluded area to ourselves. The camp was packed. I have been here a few times and it has always been packed on week-ends. So make you'r reservations early.
We stayed there in August, there was no fire or charcoal grilling allowed . We tried to have. a little campfire for the little ones to have their s'mores , but the security/owner and his dog stopped by to remind us to put out the fire immediately. So, if you like to have a campfire, make sure to go in a season that is allowed.
Gas Grill is allowed.
Swimming in the lake is allowed and the water was fairly nice.
There is very little shade area in this camp, so a canopy is highly recommended.

I reserved our campsite months in advance for the 4th of July weekend. When I checked in, the site had given our site to someone else on first come first serve. The person on our campsite was gone for the day therefore I lost a day. I was told I would get reimbursed and haven’t seen the credit on my account.
