Putah Canyon Campground offers a fantastic location near Lake Berryessa, ideal for summer activities like kayaking and fishing. Campers appreciate the friendly staff and clean facilities, including well-maintained port-a-potties, though some suggest improvements are needed. Everything was amazing. Staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Initially booked site 93&94 but after arriving and seeing how small they were ( looked more like a parking spot) I asked if we could move and they said yes. Site 83&84 were way more then we needed but perfect in case we had additional guest. The view from the site was amazing. From morning sunrise to sunset. Onsite security . Staff roaming the areas about once every 2 hours. VERY CLEAN!
The store on site was open and had soooo many essential items ( including beer & ice) . We were able to rent a paddle board for the day for $70 ( they also had kayaks, pontoons and other water toys ). Quiet time was 10 and by 10:35 they made sure it was implemented which made bedtime so much easier.

I am happy to report that my camping week this summer was very pleasant and I can’t wait to go back . The staff was great and the weather was as fantastic as the warm water! Great improvement over last year, 100% great !

Putah Canyon Campground is a great place. Very spacious and access to the Lake at all point. Our campground was awesome, we had our own access to the lake. The only downside is that there's only porter potties that can sometimes get too full during the weekend. But other than that, it's a great campsite specially for big groups.

Please clean your ports-potie toilets. We were there for 4 nights and they were full and dirty. There were 2 flushing toilets and one was locked for staff. This is unacceptable and noticed this for the past 3 years.

Campsite was nice, clean, and appropriate. We didn’t like the noise during the night. Lots of animal sounds, cannot sleep. During the day lots of bees, difficult to cook and enjoy the outdoor. During the nights lots of bugs, can’t use any type of light outside because they all flying everywhere.

We were here on Memorial Day weekend and it was great. Porta Potties were very clean the entire weekend, launch ramp was never crowded. Noise went down at 10 pm sharp and all neighbors were and staff were very friendly. Understand that it’s lake camping not state park camping so if you don’t have toys “boat, jet ski, kayak or canoe” to play offshore there’s not much to do.

We liked the fact of the location and how it was close to the water doc. The fact that thier was options for restrooms and kept it clean daily. However the store close by sold us expired pancake syrup and didnt realize it til we purchased it already. The camping slots weren’t as big as I thought it would be but we made it work for a family of 8
