Putah Canyon Campground offers a fantastic location near Lake Berryessa, ideal for summer activities like kayaking and fishing. Campers appreciate the friendly staff and clean facilities, including well-maintained port-a-potties, though some suggest improvements are needed. once my most favorite place on the lake has turned bad. I was overcharged for campsites that weren't mine and over $100 in parking fees!my group was and always is the only people that camp durning week days when still no one else is there!I even have the receipts that make no sense!they owe me almost $200! I can't believe how rude the manager was at the booth to friends joining and how rude she was to me too at my campsite. they need to rethink their customer skills there or they will be the lake disappointment for sure . I cancelled my next reservation due to disappointment and I can't afford the nickel and dime business they are doing there . too bad

Campgrounds were nice and clean. We had a very big site for our 30’ travel trailer. We went during the week so there was not too many people. Much better than the “Wild West” of Steele canyon. Most Importantly was the the kindness of the staff! Greeted and left with a smile from the staff. All and all a very good experience.

Great campground. They did charge us for parking in addition to our reservation which is a bummer, but the team was great! We rented paddle boards there and had a lovely time. There is water, but only porta-potties which is a bummer but not a big deal!

Well maintained campground, staffed by a super awesome group of people! Can't go wrong staying at more than half of the sites. (Depending on what type of site you prefer!)

Great location at Lake Berryessa. Clean campground. All sites have lake views! EZ access to the water from the campsites and you can fish right off the bank. Hosts and employees were all very nice and helpful. Boat ramp is easily accessible and well maintained w/plenty of parking. RV sites are dry (no hookups) so RVs with air conditioners will be running their generators most the day to stay cool on hot days. We went 2nd week of May 2023 and stayed Wednesday-Sunday. Very few sites were taken during this time of week and time of year. Not sure how it is after Memorial Day and throughout the summer months though. We stayed in a 34' Class A motorhome and brought our fishing boat.

Putah Canyon Campground is the only place I’ll camp at Berryessa. Convenient, launch is easy, camp spots are great. Access to my three favorite fishing areas.
I’ve recently stayed at Pleasure Cove since the Triathlon had taken over putah that weekend. Never again. That place is not for me.
Fishing, camping, boat and kayak launch is what I do at Putah Canyon. Best! The online booking works fine! The people who run the campgrounds are really friendly and do a great job.

The overall experience was great. Good spot and nice scenery. The people at the entrance booth not great at all. The lady tried to charge me "extra" for each guest. And did manage to charge the other people who went with me $10 "extra" for each person and it was 5 people in total. We rented two spots with a maximum of 8 occupants each spot. It was a total of 9 people for two spaces rented. If I already paid the rental fee why did she need to charge us again? If a supervisor or someone who can do something about that reads this please do because I don't think it's right what's she's doing.
