I was really happy with my site- it was clean and large. There is good space between the sites. The one pit-fall (haha) was the pit potty was all boarded up. There was not another restroom facility very close by. I tried walking to the one closer to the front of the campground but there were 4-5 loose dogs running around - I had my pup with me so I didn't like being rushed by loose dogs. the other restroom was pretty far the other direction so I needed to drive down there. One of the loose dogs came to my site twice the next day. His owners let him out and went back to sleep. I would come back if I got the same section of sites... will just bring my own potty facility. Salmon Creek camp is close to all the hikes I like to do.

Site 21 is not fully level and has a pitch to it. The picnic table is down a path away from the platform for the camper. It is close to the bathrooms and a spiket is by the restrooms.
You can hear freeway noise but that is for every site. Overall nice site.

I was very glad to see that the campsite had a host this year. It all went to hell the last few years without one. The bathrooms were better but the pit toilets still seem in need of cleaning out more often.

Clean, hosted, good location to great hiking and many lakes to swim in a short ride away. Generous size camp sites. Close to Salmon Creek, still running in July. A few water faucets with running water, was not sure if this was drinkable. Kids often noisy in the afternoon, but quiet by 9 PM. Would come back here.

Nice camp ground. Some of the campsites are near the creek so some noise at night.
Very little road noise.

Salmon Creek was very pleasant. Site 30 was at the end of the road, which was good. Solar was minimal on the west side of the road. So 29 would be a better choice. All nice spots in that area and clean bathrooms. Sierra Buttes are stunning, even if you can't make it to the fire lookout!! Graeagle is
a nice little town close by with great golf courses. Beautiful area all around.

The sites were clean and so were the bathrooms. We were surprised that all sites were reserved, yet only about 2/3rds of the sites were actually used. That was unfortunate for others hoping to use the sites.
