Great place to camp. Lots of places to hike, bike, swim, fish and boat. Family and pet friendly. We would definitely recommend this campground. Easy access to Sardine Lakes, Packer Lake, Gold Lake and the Yuba River. Bassetts Station is close by with a general market, restaurant and the best ice cream!!

I loved the experience! It was beautiful - with the pond nearby and Sardine lake just a short walk away. There were rentable rowboats and motorboats nearby that you can use - but heads up. People can't actually go IN Sardine lake - it's just for fishing. But that's what the pond is for- there were tadpoles and small fishes. You could still see the ice on the mountains nearby. It was gorgeous.

This is a really nice, quaint, campground. The sites are well designed, and not too crowded. Whomever is managing the campground did a really good job of posting which sites were reserved, and which available. I think perhaps the length of driveway specifications are a little exaggerated. For example, the site I stayed in was 35ft, but would no way accommodate a 35ft trailer or motorhome. It was more like 30ft of level driveway. But it was still very nice.
