Easy access to reach. Little run down/ overgrown. Was just a pit stop.

Great location, quiet, close to Temecula. The host is super nice. Some of the spots are well shaded and secluded.

Our campsite was pretty small compared to most - Site 11 - I suspect the rains have made the plants take over, which is fine, but we barely had room for our tent, which also made the - Don’t touch the plants! - policy a bit tough to swallow. Mosquitoes were intense, but that’s just nature.
There’s no firewood for sale here, which was a disappointment. The fire ring was in pretty sad shape.
But we had a good time. The pit bathrooms were fine.

My campsite was clean, fire ring, BBQ stand emptied of ash. Nice and quiet during the weekday's when I camp. The wildlife there is great to watch. I walk the mile and half thru the campsites 2 times a day. You can walk across the Hwy to see the US Forest Service fire Station, and walk along the Oak Grove trail.

This site when we got there it was overgrown by weeds so we couldn't put our tent down on the intended space. Because of that we put our tens on the drive way. However, restroom is clean. Good place.

Lovely no frills campground. Very clean sites. Due to extensive rainfall, the campsite was overgrown more so than previous stays. Couldn't locate a trash dumpster. Nearby hiking to Eagle Rock or Dripping Springs. Several wineries are close including our favorite, Shadow Mountain.

Unique ribbonwood trees. Stagecoach Inn for breakfast and lunch. Borrego Springs sculptures and Carlee's top the list of places. Julian pie company.

Mid-week it was great. The host was great. However, on the weekends it is full of loud, rude party campers and no law enforcement. Cell phone service sucks.
