This campground is a hidden gem. It is my favorite place to camp in SoCal. The campground is beautiful, the restrooms are always well maintained, the camp hosts are always helpful, and it is such a family friendly campground.

We had an overnight stay here in site #47 and we liked the site.
The camp hosts were knowledgeable and friendly.
It was a family-oriented crowd and everybody we interacted with was personable.
The only thing that made this an okay experience was there was no running water. The spigots had been capped off and we didn't know we needed to pack in water. We had plenty for drinking but there was nothing to personal/ clean up use. We were told by the hosts that some years back it was noticed that the pipes were corroded and instead of changing them they were capped off. Not what we were expecting, especially when we pay the same for other locations that do have water.

I had a some high hopes for this campground reading reviews on here and other camping sites, but arriving at check-in, my site through a mistake not my own, had reserved was given to another camper. I was given a site directly behind the one I had reserved which was more slanted making sleeping in my vehicle a little uncomfortable. There was shade, but a lot of flies and some sites like mine are a little smaller. Overall, for a one night stay it was it was okay. It would've been nice to get notified that my original site that I booked got changed instead of arriving at the campground and finding out there.

Car alarm was off at night for almost 2 hours at night! It was ridiculous. Other people left the campground. Host didn't do anything to fix it. A bunch of trees have cut on site #12. There was pretty much no shade at that site. Ground was not flat to pitch a tent.
