What Guests Are Saying
Pinnacles Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with a variety of wildlife, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to numerous hiking trails, including the highly recommended Bear Gulch Cave trail. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and generally private sites, making for a relaxing experience. While some noted issues with limited facilities and the presence of raccoons, overall, guests found the campground enjoyable and a great base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Pinnacles National Park.

Nothing but great things to say about Pinnacles campground. Nice clean restrooms. Thank you for providing the free showers that was a big plus. Would definitely recommend.

There are several great hikes. Sadly there is minimal staffing, so not a lot of interpretive guidance.

A fun and far away national park. Condors were magnificent! Careful as it can be quite warm from March forward. And I live in the Central Valley, CA so am used to high summer temperatures.

It was the hottest March, maybe ever. But the pool was not open. Because... its always been this way. That being said, the tent cabins are nice, the showers and bathrooms were cleaned and well stocked, the store closes at 6 so get your ice early.

Our site was nice but I was surprised to find port-a-potties in such a large and established campground in a National Park and at the camping rate we were paying. Getting to them from our site was also no simple task.
Sites were spaced to give a good deal of privacy where we were but I woke up after midnight to music playing over speakers from some other area of the site.
When we were there it was 95 degrees and the pool was full of water and had pumps running but still closed for the season. It was March so this wasn’t a huge surprise but still disappointing when it’s so hot.
The park itself was lovely but the visitor centers didn’t open when they said they would and the staff were not knowledgeable about the park.

Wonderful wildflower views along the trails on our mid March walk at Pinnacles. Enjoyed seeing the Condors returning to their roost at evening sunset. The night sky was beautiful with a carpet of stars overhead but unfortunately some campers didn't abide by the dark sky recommendations in the campground. Otherwise a great place to visit.
