What Guests Are Saying
Pinnacles Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with a variety of wildlife, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to numerous hiking trails, including the highly recommended Bear Gulch Cave trail. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and generally private sites, making for a relaxing experience. While some noted issues with limited facilities and the presence of raccoons, overall, guests found the campground enjoyable and a great base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Pinnacles National Park.

nice campgrounds with shower. Could use another bathroom in the CG. Needs more parking at trailheads. They could open up an access gate near Visitor Center to provide more parking spaces also have shuttles. working during peak hiking season. Beautiful park.

The RV campsites are in a beautiful nature setting, and conveniently located close to the trails and the park store. The trails are well maintained, and the park is beautiful

Stayed in site 73. It was very private. Pretty tight with the trailer but we enjoyed our stay. Lots of vegetation and birds and frogs croaking. Did hikes on east and west side. Preferred west side. Saw condors & peregrine falcons.

Great Campground - fire ring, table, food locker & nice showers. Great camp hosts. Bundled wood was expensive at $20
Nice hiking but I would not do this when it is hot!

The frog orchestra was impressive. Raccoon stole a dehydrated meal.

We loved the Pinnacle campground! Everything was gorgeous in March, green and beautiful, with lots of space between campsites in our A section, and amazing night skies. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

The campground was clean and facilities were adequate. Showers were convenient. Staff in the store and in the Park were very friendly. Access to trailheads was easy. Trail markings were great. Caves were loads of fun. I'm 70 and my wife is 68 and we had no trouble on any of the trails or walking through the caves. We were there at the beginning of March and the weather was perfect. I imagine it would be very hot in the summertime. The visitors center inside the park was interesting and worth visiting. We just had a great time there.

Great spot, and wonderful to be in a campground where generators are not allowed, nowhere, at no time!

Expect long lines and delays [or possible restrictions especially] between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
