What Guests Are Saying
Pinnacles Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with a variety of wildlife, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to numerous hiking trails, including the highly recommended Bear Gulch Cave trail. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and generally private sites, making for a relaxing experience. While some noted issues with limited facilities and the presence of raccoons, overall, guests found the campground enjoyable and a great base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Pinnacles National Park.

Great experience and loved staying at the Pinnacles Campground. I had site 16, which was close to the bathrooms and very private. So convenient to all the great trails at the park, and I was so happy to get a site for the weekend. The staff at the store and the park information were very helpful, and we had a great Ranger program put on by the son of the Ranger. He did an excellent job and was happy to attend. Great information about the wildlife in the park and the different habitats that make up the park.

Lovely campground! Nice, quiet, and clean. Great access to trails from the campground, would definitely recommend staying here. We had a 36ft TT and the roads leading to the park entrance were a tad tight and curvy so be aware of that as you enter. Just go slow & you’ll be fine. Favorite stay on our road trip by far!

Great spot. Facilities are clean. Note - no cell service whatsoever except at the store. Note, you also have to pay a park entrance fee or have a pass to get into Pinnacles. This is not included in the camping reservation fee.

Location was excellent and the showers were very welcomed (thank you). The drive in part of the camp sites could be leveled better. Separation between sites is generally good. More posted information at the store would be beneficial regarding the operation of the east side of the park.
