What Guests Are Saying
Pinnacles Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with a variety of wildlife, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to numerous hiking trails, including the highly recommended Bear Gulch Cave trail. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and generally private sites, making for a relaxing experience. While some noted issues with limited facilities and the presence of raccoons, overall, guests found the campground enjoyable and a great base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Pinnacles National Park.

The facilities, like the restrooms and showers, were great. Some camp sites are packed too closely together with little privacy. They also had a huge school group(s) that was non-stop noise until 9:30 pm. Not really a quiet night in the woods. It sounded like we were at a school football game all day long. Exhausting and lame when you want to get away.

Great time in the tent cabin at Pinnacles National Park! Unfortunately no fires due to fire season but everything was very clean and ready for us (even with the shut down going on right now). Camp store and amenities were all open! Hiking was lovely, not too crowded since it is near the end of the season.

Lovely campground with beautiful surroundings Most of the campsites have some sort of natural privacy beak (bushes/trees) from neighboring sites - although there are a handful that do not. There are numerous great hiking trails around the park. The most popular trails are about 2.5 miles away. There are parking lots at the start of these trails. We rode bikes, which was not too difficult (but not flat), Note that there is no bike lane so you do need to be careful with the cars.

An amazing experience especially if you do the surrounding trails and caves. Pinnacles maintenance staff was excellent. Great store in campground for necessities and sandwiches, ice cream and ice and people to help you with the trails and where to go in the park. The raccoons will be happy to steal your bag of chips from under your nose, so put it in Tupperware or something that's harder for them to grab. Drive slow and Leave no trace, there are Loads of quail, deer, condors, vultures, turkeys and they like the roads.
