What Guests Are Saying
Pinnacles Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with a variety of wildlife, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to numerous hiking trails, including the highly recommended Bear Gulch Cave trail. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and generally private sites, making for a relaxing experience. While some noted issues with limited facilities and the presence of raccoons, overall, guests found the campground enjoyable and a great base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Pinnacles National Park.

Nice campground. We had a nicely shaded area. We didn’t need it but there is a pool. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We had an issue with electric at site 104 that staff couldn’t fix. They thought it was our camper but camper has worked fine at 3 different places since we left

Well maintained campground with frequently cleaned porta-potties throughout. Friendly, helpful staff too. This is a huge, popular campground with over 100 sites that fill up 100% Fridays, Saturdays which also brings lots of kids and barking dogs noise as well as bringing out the many bold racoons coming into camps for everyone's dinner. Using the locking metal storage is a must! Weekdays in September were wonderfully empty and quiet. Great hikes in the park!

This National Park and campground is truly a gem. Everything you want for a weekend or more of hiking. Gentle hills, beautiful views, plenty of opportunities to look at deer from close range, fascinating rock and cavern formations, and a shimmering reservoir.

We had a wonderful time at Pinnacles. Our campsite was very nice and we enjoyed sitting outside watching the deer and bunnies go by. The hiking was good too. One day we hiked the Moses Spring to Rim Trail loop with a stop at the reservoir.
Our other hike took us from Bear Gulch to High Peaks to Condor Gulch.

Site 69 is too small unless you have a tiny one person tent and are happy sleeping on a slope. We had to change sites. There is a lot of wildlife here which is lovely to experience but bring ear plugs if you want sleep.

We loved our cabin and the site! There's a little spot behind the tent within the trees which was a perfect nook for our kids and a hammock during the heat of the day. We especially appreciated the staff who informed us about the best way to enjoy the cave hike, by waking up early and eating breakfast in the parking lot to beat the heat and not worry about parking. The pool was fun too. Thanks again!
