Such an awesome campsite! So many birds and other wildlife. Lots of wooded sites. Bathrooms not too far away. Definitely worth the stay!

Pinnacles Campground offers a well-maintained and clean environment with excellent amenities, including a pool, showers, and a well-stocked store. Visitors enjoy the stunning night skies, abundant wildlife, and various hiking opportunities, making it a favorite destination for families. However, be cautious of aggressive raccoons and potential noise disturbances during the night, as well as the early pool closing time.

Pinnacles is wonderful. The campsite is slightly set apart from the other 4 sites in this cluster, and is a (short) walk from where you would park your car - watch out for ant hills on the way. Trees to the south/west made for some nice afternoon/evening shade. Bathrooms were clean, with flush toilets, and easy to use, surprising given it was shared with a number of group camps. As others have said, beware raccoons, jays, and other critters around your food. I personally was very charmed by the bunnies and quail I was sharing the space with.
It was right off the Bench Trail which was very convenient, but also meant that hikers would pass close by and occasionally wander into your site. And the site is close to the road leading into the park, right by some rumble strips, which you can hear most of the day and also in the wee hours. For hikes starting from Old Pinnacles or Bear Gulch, I just drove in since starting from the campground would have added an extra 5 mi or so, and parking was easy on weekday mornings. But I hiked straight from the campsite for a nice long nature walk around South Wilderness Trail, which I thoroughly enjoyed - both the hike and the fact I didn't have to drive or shuttle anywhere.

This campsite seemed more private than most, it was the only one in the vicinity on its side of the road. Very spacious. The nearby toilets were port-o-potties, if that matters to you.
The campsites are pretty far from the well known hiking trails near the inside of the park. I was here on Thanksgiving day where things weren't too full, so I was able to drive in and park easily. The day after Thanksgiving was another story - the lots in the park (bear gulch, old pinnacles, others) filled up early. The shuttle service they offered from the campground parking to bear gulch, while much appreciated, was not frequent enough to handle all the visitors. For busy holidays/weekends, prepare for disappointing waits, or to tack on an extra 5 mi of hiking if you want to hike in straight from the campgrounds.

We were only here for one day but the campsite was fine, dump convenient, did one hike and it was very enjoyable. Very few people. Trailheads are small and there is no RV parking so we had to park one mile away and walk to the trail head. We saw turkey and deer, sadly no condor.

Great launching point to hiking the park, shuttles made it easy to return at the end of the day, camp store was reasonably well stocked and they have hot showers!
What more can you ask for :)

Clean and well maintained camp site with shower access and potable water. Our site had tons of shade and was set back from the road giving it privacy and solitude. Would highly recommend in summer in particular given the shade of the huge oak trees.

We were at campsite 114 and felt like that campsite was significantly lower quality than the others. It has no protection from the RV turnaround or overflow parking. The park is beautiful, but I wish I was aware of the difference between campsite quality before arriving.

Nice National Park with trails, caves and condors. Free hot showers and clean bathrooms. Wifi is $7 for 7 days and works in site #2A.
Campsite 2A has a big area for tents. Parking space is not leveled for RVs and is shared with the next site. Bear locker is too small for a medium cooler. No nearby water spigot or drainage for doing dishes.
