What Guests Are Saying
Meadowview Campground is praised for its spacious sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and convenient location near Pinecrest Lake, making it a great choice for families and groups. The addition of a reservation system has improved organization, and many campers appreciate the clean facilities and friendly staff. However, concerns about noisy neighbors, restroom maintenance, and rule enforcement have been noted, indicating areas for improvement in the overall camping experience.

I've been camping up here for nearly 30 years and while the new reservation system makes it harder to camp spontaneously, the additional staff on-site add a personal connection to the campground that was missing before. It's nice to see a friendly face greeting you when you arrive especially if you have a question or concern. The campground is well maintained and rules are enforced regularly but not harshly, which is ideal. The walk to the lake is relatively short and it's nice to be away from the main road where there's heavy traffic on weekends and holidays.

The campground is overall one of my favorites, but note this campsite is on an incline. Hardly any where flat to set up your tent.

Great proximity to Pinecrest Lake with large camping spots. We had spot 103 which had a pretty level parking pad (we sleep in our van) but other spots in the park are hit and miss.

We have camped at this location for the past 4 years and have never experienced unprofessionalism like we did this year, we felt targeted and singled out by one of the rangers for the noise while everyone around us was just as loud or louder, we understand there is rules and regulations and we do our best to follow them but kids are excited and in our case haven’t seen each other since the previous year, we were told if we made any noise we would have to leave and get the sheriffs called on us once I noticed the camp ranger was just being very unprofessional I requested to speak to someone in higher authority he made such comments as “I’m not doing this and put his hand in my face or my manager that signs my check will be here tomorrow” I felt as if I could not explain or bring my concerns from the surrounding campers with fear or getting kicked off it felt like I was walking on egg shells and it felt horrible. It made the weekend not enjoyable but having to stand on guard it was a very disappointing feeling never have I ever experienced this here at this campsite. Mind you my sons birthday is July 4th and we couldn’t even sing happy birthday with the fear of being singled out.

Great campgrounds, nicely maintained, close to fun activities, food, and general store (just in case you forgot anything).

Somewhat noisy, crowded and not private
Campsite was not cleaned well before my arrival, there were wrappings, plastic forks, etc, on the ground, and there was a mess in the firepit (some pieces of something wet & rotting).
Close to the lake, but it is better to stay @Pinecrest campground - just as crowded, but at least you can walk to the lake.
No connection. Closest WiFi is by community lodge around the corner.
