Tule Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious, well-separated sites and a friendly camp host. Many visitors appreciate the clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and ample family-friendly activities such as biking and fishing. However, there are recurring issues with restroom cleanliness and maintenance, which detracts from the overall experience for some campers.

Very peaceful campground directly at the Success Lake. We used the campground for an overnight stay on our journey from Lodgepole Campground to Las Vegas for which it was perfectly suited.

We traveled from Utah to stay here for a vacation, we know the area from living in Tulare during the '80s-'90s.
I was impressed with the campground system and the staff there.
The Park Ranger driving around all day and night makes for a comfortable feeling.
Large site with electric/water hookup for a very fair price.
We met some friendly families and made friends.

Water level at the lake is not that low for this time of the year which still good if you like water sports like fishing, swimming and boating like myself

Visit was okay. Site #24 has no water hook up, so had to get water from open campsites. There were a lot of non- campers hanging out in the paid campground at open campsites on a daily basis.

This park is very very busy with day visitors and close to the hwy. We had an incident one night with a person who walked off the hwy into the camp and chose to sleep in the back of our truck. He said he was tired and hungry. When confronted he walked away from us further into the park. Police called and responded quickly. Person was found and taken from park. Everyone was scared and one camper stayed up all night watching the gates. No other incidents occurred. We had a pull through with water and electricity and dump at exit of park.

I spent 2 nights and 2 days at Camp Tule, Lake Success, camping with my sons ages 6 and 8. We had an amazing time. Overall, the staff, people at the gate and park rangers were very friendly and always around for a friendly conversation. We had camp site 76, right on the corner or the campgrounds nearest the Lake. Each camp site has shade but varies depending on the time of day. The first night we stayed the temp was 110 and stayed pretty warm all day and into the evening. the next day was a bit cooler at 95. The camp sites are walking distance from the lake, but a bit further to the shore were you can safely enter the water. The water was incredibly warm but had pockets of cool water, overall nice lake to spend some time in. Great views, amazing sunsets. When we were not at the campsite were were at the lake, walking the lake, or playing around the campsite. There are also two playgrounds that were a cool activity for the boys to do while I made meals. Showers and Bathrooms were OK, what you would expect. The views overall are amazing at this location. At night you can see SO MANY stars. We will be back for sure. Thank you for such a great location!

Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side. Literally. Only part of the campground is watered, leaving the other campsites to be covered in dead grass and stickers. Not ideal. There is no official swimming area. Just an unpaved road down to a point where you can wade in. Camp host was unsympathetic and terse after I mentioned neighbors that were loud past midnight. On the bright side, campsites had water spigots and the bathrooms were in decent condition.
