What Guests Are Saying
Tule Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious, well-separated sites and a friendly camp host. Many visitors appreciate the clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and ample family-friendly activities such as biking and fishing. However, there are recurring issues with restroom cleanliness and maintenance, which detracts from the overall experience for some campers.

Campsite was nice and clean. However, there was loud music playing until 3am from the store just outside of campground. I wasn't able to go to sleep till about 2:30am. That was awful.

It’s a beautiful place. But there were no notifications about the showers or toilets being closed. And half of the portapotties were full. :/ I hope

Two bathrooms down for repair. They has Porta Johns set out. Directed to bath house at South campground for showers. Campgrounds as well as staff are nice.

North Campground. Nice large, spaced sites. My small group of about a dozen was there Oct. 15-18, 2021. I was in site 19 with electric. We chose sites close to the bathroom/shower building... however, that building and the next closest were out-of-order due to aging plumbing problems (I think they said collapsed pipes), but didn't even tell us when we checked in... There were portable outhouses, but they were overflowing from a large group that had just left, and unusable (they empty only once a week)... They brought us one more potty, but it did not have a door latch... The building in the opposite direction had shower out-of-order and ancient plumbing for toilets, with curtains instead of stall doors... The lake is mostly gone due to the long drought... Aside from these problems (hopefully temporary), I would definitely camp there again, and also bring another group (and bring my personal porta-potty in case of future problems). I would like to try the South Campground also (where the Day Use, childrens' playground and boat marina are). Since this is an Army Corps of Engineers project, those with the government Senior Pass get 50% off.

The site was Disgusting!!! Roaches on the ground of the site, and in the bathrooms!!! Black widows in the electronic ports and in the bathrooms!!! Left the next day. And the air was really bad with the close fire. Will not be coming back

Nice place to camp. Peaceful. Everyone was respectful and quiet before 9pm. Clean campgrounds. Flush toilets, clean restroom. They do have showers at no charge. Minimal choice of spaces with shade. Lake is in walking distance - close. We enjoyed our short stay.
