What Guests Are Saying
Tule Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious, well-separated sites and a friendly camp host. Many visitors appreciate the clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and ample family-friendly activities such as biking and fishing. However, there are recurring issues with restroom cleanliness and maintenance, which detracts from the overall experience for some campers.

Our campsite was dry, had weeds and was full of goat, head stickers, impossible to move around or use air mattresses

The sites on the right when you enter the lake is where we stayed. The grass camp site area is basically just stickers.
We enjoy our stays at the campground however we have learned the hard way that stuff will come up missing overnight.
The store on the docs is great and well supplied. Very excited to find Riley's Brew as we usually have to travel to Merced to buy it.

When I booked our stay on the web site not 1 mention of the toilets being non functional - at check in NO mention of the NASTY toilets & portable toilets placed in front of the bathrooms were FULL & disgusting just like the bathroom toilets .
Trash bins were overflowing with garbage & stunk !
The camp host lady was nice - however she should have let us know the bathrooms were nonfunctional & porta potties were also FULL .
Not a place I would ever stay at again - we left early because the campground facilities were just plain nasty .

Had planned a one day one night stay for a weekend of fishing and camping with friends. It was an overall good experience. We all enjoyed our campsite and the fishing. We would definitely stay again.

It wasn’t very crowded when we were there. So it was nice and quiet.
The one downside was making the reservation. We had to drive a few miles down the road to get cell service in order to book our site.
Clean bathrooms. Nice setting. The road is close, but since it doesn’t get a lot of nighttime traffic, it wasn’t an issue.

Very pretty area. Campground was fairly clean. Areas around river had lots of litter. Your mommy wasn’t here. Pick up your trash. The road back to the campground was narrow, rough with lots of curves. Pit toilets with no TP. Old and new buildings so not sure if it was being maintained. Reserved a site but sign said open. Nobody else in campground so needlessly paid online reservation fee.

There is a ground squirrel over population at 21, 23, and 24. Leave your vehicle hood up during the day to prevent engine wire chewing.
