What Guests Are Saying
Tule Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious, well-separated sites and a friendly camp host. Many visitors appreciate the clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and ample family-friendly activities such as biking and fishing. However, there are recurring issues with restroom cleanliness and maintenance, which detracts from the overall experience for some campers.

We arrived after the office was closed, so we might have missed a bit.
But the campground was flat and had a lot of waterpoints which was nice. But you could feel that this location has a problem with unwanted visitors and therefore no "normal" guests. We were also warned by others about the homeless problem. Also the ground was so dry it was almost impossible to stick a peg good in the ground.
Most of the showers/toilets were locked, so you couldn't use them and the rest wasn't is the best shape they have ever been in.
Being next to the 190 and been told about a homeless/theft problem doesn't give you the best night although the bay/beach area was quiet.

The weeds in all the campsites are ridiculous. Fox tails and stickers everywhere. They need to scrap it all out and put gravel or water the grass! Dogs and kids had stickers everywhere.

Stickers and ground squirrels were terrible.
I came home with at least 20 itching bites of some kind although I never saw any mosquitoes.
It wouldn’t surprise me to be fleas or chiggers.
With all of the ground squirrels I expected coyotes and rattlesnakes, none fortunately.
Me and the other 2 campers will never go back.

Camping experience was okay. There is a homeless problem. In addition, the homeless campers enter occupied campsites.
