I loved the trails to walk there and see the views.
There was no wifi which I wish I’d known ahead of time.

A convenient and quiet spot to camp off I-5. A nice paved hiking trail loops the campsite and is great for those with a physical movement limitation.

i like this place because its quite sometimes a little too quiet but thats fine. the new host is great and is doing alot to make the place better by raking sweeping and mostly getting the spider webs out of the bathrooms as they were so bad before she came i couldnt even come in. its definately getting better thank you host for making it a better place.

Since Chico State has gotten involved cleaning the grounds, the restrooms, and basically running the campground, it has improved a million times thank you for now making it a safe and wonderful place to camp.

When you’re always preoccupied cousin leave the passenger window open the entire weekend and nobody steals your stuff. We actually parked our vehicle there so we could be on the river.

It was very good I have no complaints except for the conditions of the restrooms where horrible there was spider webs spiders everywhere thick layers of spiders not cool

Great campground with plenty of shade to beat the heat of the Central Valley.
Very interesting Discovery Area adjacent to the campground.

From Interstate 5 at Red Bluff, take Antelope Boulevard east for about a quarter-mile. Turn right (south) on Sale Lane continue for approximately 3 miles to the Red Bluff Recreation Area entrance gate. Continue on that road until you get to the Sacramento River Discovery Center than turn left. The campground entrance is aproximately 600ft. down on the right.
