What Guests Are Saying
Sycamore Grove Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained setting with green grass, spacious sites, and clean bathrooms, including coin-operated showers. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. However, some concerns were raised about noisy campers, the condition of pit toilets, and occasional issues with camp host interactions. Overall, it's considered a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature, especially for short stays.

I had a great time. I think the park is a great place to explore. It is the best nature destination in Red Bluff, CA.

Excellent, Park was fairly clean, mostly quiet. One of the restrooms smells all of the time. Although I didn't use the restrooms or showers I have never encountered a campground that charged a fee to campers to use the showers.

It was very comfortable at Sycamore Grove. We were pleased to find a park close to Red Bluff and Redding.

Great spot off the freeway, but not too close to it. Quite. Spacious. Ample trees with shady breezes. Bathroom was unfortunately locked.

The bathrooms worked this year. We were happy for the hot showers. The camp needed to be mowed though, grass very long with branches all over.

We have been visiting Sycamore Grove for many years except during 2 years of the pandemic. We try to come in spring when the Valley Oaks are just starting to bud and everything is green. The temperatures can be quite hot but there are many shady sites to choose from. Although this park is just outside Red Bluff and highway traffic is slightly audible, it feels quite isolated. In town there is a good grocery store, Raley's, and our favorite, El Gallo Giro Taco Truck, just a few yards west of the freeway at exit 649 (enormous, savory burritos).
