I found the campgrounds clean and quiet the showers weren`t unclean, but needs upgraded. The campgrounds located in town, but yet remote and away from city traiffic , just a couple miles from shopping and gas stations and on the river

What a beautiful place, and right on the river. Sycamores, Oaks, Pine, you're camping in a beautifully canopied area with manicured green beneath...so nice to walk barefoot on. The road and all campsites are paved and their pull through sites are just big enough for a 30' motorhome pulling a vehicle, so if you're in a real BIG land yacht pulling anything, the sites may not be big enough (44ft max). Be that as it may, I reserved a pull through site with electric and water (which was pristine and tasty) hookups. Luckily for me the spot was the most level in the camp, as I haven't yet mastered leveling my 30' motorhome, so it was easy to set up. The campsite itself was quite roomy, all of them are, so even if this place was fully booked, there's plenty of green space between camps to not feel at all cramped or crowded. The camp host was kind and helpful when needed. I will definitely camp here again.

Great location! Looks like most of the sites are pull-thru. Campground is close to I-5, but no freeway noise. There is a nice walking/bike trail in the park. This is a USFS campground and definitely had more amenities than most. Some sites have water and electric. No dump site in the campground. Lots of huge old trees that must be wonderful in the summer for shade. Sites are spaced far apart.
Lassen NP southwest entrance is about an hour drive away.
We would definitely stay here again.
