Sycamore grove campsites. has lots of trees that are really nice. There is a flower garden that is well maintained. It’s pleasant to walk around the park. The Sacramento river is an added attraction with lots of birds, for those birders out there, bring your binoculars. There is a flashing toilet and cold shower which are fairly kept clean. The fees are affordable.

great site: quiet with a nice bike/walking trail through expansive fields (and along the Sacramento River) with old oak trees. Good spacing between sites. Only problem was that there was no hot water for sinks or showers. According to the host, this was because the propane tanks were empty - no one arranged for additional propane. The web page for this campground should clearly indicate that there is no hot water, or else remove the statement that there are showers.

Beautiful site for camping. Wish the sites were by the overflow area. That area gets the sounds of the river. did not use the showers, though I heard the water was cold.

Well kept campground. Only a couple miles from I-5 so very convenient while travelling. Large tree canopy; open at ground level. I did not observe the problem with homeless people mentioned in other reviews. About the only problem encountered was that the restroom/shower access code changed over night. Not really a big problem as the host was there with new code, but it was an annoyance. We had a very nice stay.
