The campsites were well maintained. The camp hosts were very friendly. The only issue was the yellow jackets. They were extremely bad this year, so be prepared when you visit.

Red Rock was quite the walk but the campground was great

First time camping as a family of four. Our site was clean and a bit secluded. Totally surrounded by trees. I’d choose another campsite next time because it felt like we were sleeping at a slight grade decline. Hosts were great. Friendly and communicative. We were able to buy firewood from them. Bathrooms were clean and always accessible. Only downside all trip was the crazy amounts of bees and yellow-jackets that we encountered. It made eating with your kids a bit of a nightmare because they were scared. Definitely invest in a netted canopy to put around the picnic table.

Best spot of the three campgrounds. Toilets were super clean. Spot had a charcoal grill and fire pit which was awesome. Amazing oak trees but lots of poison oak. The river is a long walk so we drove and parked. Had a nice family trip.

We had spot #38, we were right in from of the entrance and the hosts. The host kept to themselves but did answer any questions we had. There was a tree that had fallen in the past so our picnic table and parking spot didn't have shade. Our floor was nicely leveled so sleeping under the trees were easy for us. I think this was probably the biggest site in the whole campgroup which would be perfect for a big group and multiple tents! We did camp in July so there was a lot of flys, mosquitos, and in the morning those meat bees came in ARMYS. They didn't really allow us to enjoy our breakfast.
I would definitely come back! The site was huge and flat. The restroom was a small walk 2 min at most the water hook up was right in front of us. The restrooms were clean and water was filtered as well.

From Highway 101 in Santa Barbara, turn east onto Highway 154 and continue about 11 miles. Turn onto Paradise Road and travel about 3 miles to the campground.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
